Chairman's stand at W6.
Two years ago W6 was an interesting event for Chairman Software, with the exhibition providing the High Wycombe-based company with several useful leads. W8 promises more of the same.
"Ours is not a product that can be sold 'off the shelf',” said consultant Malcolm Wyatt, "but requires an in-depth knowledge of our clients' requirements. We therefore used our presence at W6 to gain contacts with new prospective customers. To this end W6 provided us with several useful leads.
"We also hope to make contact with some prospective clients at W8.”
This year the firm will be showing its latest version of Chairman Enterprise Software and some of the new features of its product, such as the 'PC Print', the Returns System and the Customer Contact Management System, which the company hopes to demonstrate to many of its existing customers, as well new potential clients.
But why should people pay Chairman a visit? Because, if you have ever wished for one software system that can handle all your requirements, from sales orders and purchasing, through production, to customer service and accounts, Chairman Enterprise could be just what you've been looking for, according to Malcolm.
"Our system includes sales and purchase order processing, electronic trading, automated stock control, stock tracking, work-in-progress tracking, capacity planning, returns maintenance, container imports and accounts in one easy-to-use, fully integrated package. We will be able to demonstrate most aspects of our software, and will be happy to discuss specific requirements for individual companies.”
In the beginning, Chairman's software was originally developed to meet the requirements of the manufacture-to-order furniture industry, although through the years the software has been developed to meet the needs of many different high value add manufacturing processes where the products are available in a multitude of options.
